Our History and Practice

Andreas Vasilatos, Esq. started the firm in the year 2006.

The firm maintains offices in Bayside, Queens, and in downtown Manhattan, Andreas Vasilatos, PLLC, to serve clients from all five boroughs of New York and in Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties.

The firm concentrates in divorce and family law. This includes divorce, custody and visitation, child and spousal support, Family Offense Petitions and orders of protection, and also international custody issues involving both the “Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction And Enforcement Act” (UCCJEA) and the Hague Convention on Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.

Known for his success in the courtroom, Andreas Vasilatos is often retained as trial counsel or as a consultant by other law firms to assist with their civil litigation needs.

The attorneys and staff at Andreas Vasilatos. PLLC have deep roots in New York City, and work hard to cultivate a reputation among colleagues, courts and clients for excellence. We are proud that the majority of our new clients come from referrals, both from satisfied clients and from other attorneys who are familiar with our work.

As Andreas notes, the goal, as an attorney, is to have “clients love you and your adversaries respect you”.
